    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Privacy mechanism design; Leakage matrix; Strong privacy criterion; KL-divergence; Local approximation; Euclidean information geometry; Privacy-utility trade-off; χ2-privacy criterion; l1-privacy criterion; Common information; Functional representation lemma; Two-part construction coding; Design av sekretessmekanism; Läckagematris; Stark sekretesskriterium; KL-divergens; Lokal approximation; Euklidisk informationsgeometri; Sekretess-nyttoavvägning; χ2-sekretesskriterium; l1-sekretesskriterium; Gemensam information; Lemma för funktionell representation; Kodning med tvådelad konstruktion.; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Privacy mechanism design is an important research area and is receiving increased attention in recent years. This field focuses on addressing the challenge of revealing general data that might have correlations with sensitive information, all while protecting this sensitive information against unauthorized access. 2. 2. REACTIVE TRANSPORT MODELLING OF DISSOLVED CO2 IN POROUS MEDIA : Injection into and leakage from geological reservoirs

    Författare :Nawaz Ahmad; Anders Wörman; Auli Niemi; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; CO2 geological storage and safety; leakage of brine saturated with dissolved CO2; reactive transport; fracture; advection; dispersion and diffusion; sorption; carbonate minerals kinetic reactions; calcite; dolomite; siderite; porosity; permeability; heat transport; Land and Water Resources Engineering; Mark- och vattenteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The geological sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the options of controlling the greenhouse gas emissions. However, leakage of CO2 from the storage reservoir is a risk associated with geological sequestration. Over longer times, large-scale groundwater motion may cause leakage of dissolved CO2 (CO2aq). 3. 3. Matrix and interface effects on microcracking in polymer composites

    Författare :Anders Sjögren; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Polymera konstruktionsmaterial; Polymeric Composite Materials;

    Sammanfattning : An underlying industrial problem for the present work is leakage of pressure vessels. Fluid leakage was confirmed to take place along a path of connected microcracks and delaminations. The thesis is concerned with the micromechanisms for microcracking studied by in-situ optical microscopy of cross-ply laminates. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Experimental Colonic Obstruction and Anastomotic Healing

    Författare :Martin Rehn; Kirurgi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Obstruction; anastomosis; colon; wound healing; matrix metalloproteinases; collagen; MMP inhibition;

    Sammanfattning : Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant diseases world-wide. Most patients can be diagnosed, staged and treated by surgery in an elective setting. However, about one fifth of the patients will have an emergency presentation and in most cases due to malignant obstruction of the left colon. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Long-gap esophageal atresia - The development of an experimental model of esophageal regeneration in vivo as an attempt to improve clinical outcome

    Författare :Linus Jönsson; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Long-gap esophageal atresia; Follow-up; guided tissue regeneration; small intestinal submucosa; pulmonary physiology; esophageal replacement; extracellular matrix; macrophage phenotype;

    Sammanfattning : Background: A subset (~8-15%) of the patients born with esophageal atresia (EA) suffer from a lack of esophageal tissue, which makes a primary anastomosis difficult to achieve. This is most common in patients born without a distal fistula between the trachea and the distal esophageal segment. LÄS MER
