6. Finite Element Modelling of Eddy Current Non-Destructive Evaluation in Probability of Detection Studies
Sammanfattning : The goal of this work has been to evaluate the possibility to use mathematical modelling to characterize the capability and reliability of automated eddy current inspections. The safety in aerospace propulsion is critical. Components that are critical for the operation are therefore designed to withstand material degradation. LÄS MER
7. Daily Occupations in Mentally Disordered Offenders in Sweden : Exploring Occupational Performance and Social Participating
Sammanfattning : The major aim was to explore perceived daily occupations in mentally disordered offenders (MDO) through occupational performance (OP) and social participation (SP) with descriptive, comparative and longitudinal designs. The 74 consecutively included MDOs were visited onsite for data collection. LÄS MER
8. Remember the small giants - Occupational exposure and characterization of aerosol particles
Sammanfattning : BACKGROUND: Exposure to airborne particles in occupational environments can lead to both acute and long-term health effects in humans. To date, particle exposure limits in the air are typically given in terms of mass concentrations. LÄS MER
9. Feeding the very low birth weight infant : short and long term effects of tube feeding methods in early postnatal life
Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis was to investigate short term effects of enteral feeding methods, continuous versus intermittent bolus feeding in very low birth weight infants on gastro intestinal tolerance and growth (I) and, behavioural responses of stress during feeding (II) in early postnatal life. Furthermore, to compare and follow up of longer term effects of these enteral feeding methods on later breastfeeding capability (III). LÄS MER
10. Data-driven Condition Monitoring in Mining Vehicles
Sammanfattning : Situation awareness is a crucial capability of any autonomous system, including mining vehicles such as drill rigs and mine trucks. Typically situation awareness is interpreted as the capability of an autonomous system to interpret its surroundings and the intentions of other agents. LÄS MER
