    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, the implementation of wireless communication systems in industrial environments has significantly increased. As a result, new applications such as Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) have arisen, reshaping the future of industrial automation. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Characterization of Small Antennas & Wireless Devices for MIMO Systems in Rich Isotropic Multipath & Random Line-of-Sight

    Författare :Ahmed Hussain; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; MIMO; Rayleigh; reverberation chamber; random LOS; RIMP; LTE; OTA;

    Sammanfattning : The current thesis is about over-the-air (OTA) performance characterization of wireless terminals in rich isotropic multipath (RIMP) environment as well as in pure line-of-sight (LOS) environment while not ignoring the random positions and orientations of the mobile terminals due to randomness of the user. The latest mobile wireless terminals such as iPhone and iPad can be used in any random position and orientation thereby making the received LOS-component toappear as a random voltage at the antenna ports. 4. 9. Energy Efficient Wireless Sensor Node Architecture for Data and Computation Intensive Applications

    Författare :Khurram Shahzad; Oelmann Bengt; Teresa Riesgo; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :WSN; wireless sensor node; architecture; vibration monitoring; image monitoring; energy efficient; FPGA; power management; embedded system;

    Sammanfattning : Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), in addition to enabling monitoring solutions for numerous new applications areas, have gained huge popularity as a cost-effective, dynamically scalable, easy to deploy and maintainable alternatives to conventional infrastructure-based monitoring solutions.A WSN consists of spatially distributed autonomous wireless sensor nodes that measure desired physical phenomena and operate in a collaborative manner to relay the acquired information wirelessly to a central location. 5. 10. Aspects on Interference and Diversity in Wireless Networks

    Författare :Fredrik Florén; Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Telekommunikationsteknik; Telecommunication engineering; Elektronik och elektroteknik; Electronics and Electrical technology; feedback; multiuser communication; diversity; throughput; packet radio networks; Interference; frequency hop communication;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with two topics in wireless communications: interference between frequency-hopping (FH) networks, and multiuser diversity. The work on FH treats a system where FH is used to provide simultaneous access to the channel for multiple uncoordinated wireless networks. LÄS MER
