  1. 1. User experiences with flexible offices

    Författare :Antonio Cobaleda Cordero; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; combi office; design research; office design; user studies; UX; user experience; activity-based flexible office; design qualities;

    Sammanfattning : Different office types provide the preconditions for distinct user experiences. However, research evidence on how users appraise flexible offices such as activity-based or combi offices is not as abundant as in the case of the more traditional open-plan and cell offices. 2. 2. Trust-Based User Profiling

    Författare :Nima Dokoohaki; Mihhail Matskin; Vlad Vlassov; Felix Wu; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; trust; userprofiling; userprofiles; privacy; interest; socialnetwork; recommendersystems;

    Sammanfattning : We have introduced the notion of user profiling with trust, as a solution to theproblem of uncertainty and unmanageable exposure of personal data duringaccess, retrieval and consumption by web applications. Our solution sug-gests explicit modeling of trust and embedding trust metrics and mechanismswithin very fabric of user profiles. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Daylight compliance of multi-dwelling apartment blocks : Design considerations, evaluation criteria and occupant responses

    Författare :Iason Bournas; Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; daylight; electric lighting; policy; regulation compliance; simulation; questionnaire; daylight metrics; perception; brightness; user preferences; urban density; block typology; room geometry; room function; room orientation;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the daylight compliance of residential spaces, in particular apartments in multi-dwelling building blocks, and provides knowledge that may prove useful for the development of future daylight criteria for dwellings.
