31. Arsenic (V) adsorption on iron oxide : implications for soil remedeation and water purification
Sammanfattning : Addition of iron oxide based adsorbents to arsenic contaminated soils has been proposed as a mean to reduce the mobility of arsenic in the soil. However, the conditions in the soil such as pH value, the presence of phosphate after addition of fertilizer to the soil or the presence of Zn (II) as a co-contaminant may affect the adsorption of arsenate on the iron oxide and may therefore have implications for the mobility of arsenic in the remediated soil. 32. Effect of austenitising temperature and cooling rate on microstructures of hot-work tool steels
Sammanfattning : The average size of hot-work tools has gradually increased over the past years. This affects the effective temperature cycle tools experience during hardening,as large dimensions prevent uniform and rapid cooling, and thereby the resulting microstructures and properties. LÄS MER
33. Modelling of induction heat treatment in a manufacturing chain
Sammanfattning : Due to increased competitiveness in the aerospace industry, deeper knowledge of the manufacturing process is needed. It is, for example, known that the microstructure is important for the performance of the components. LÄS MER
34. Reactive arthritis : The human antibody responce elicited by Yersinia enterocolitica and Clamydia trachomatis
Sammanfattning : A central issue in the pathogenesis of reactive arthritis (ReA) is whether or not individuals developing arthritis have an aberrant immune response to individual antigens of potential triggering microorganisms. Although evidence exists that Yersinia and Chlamydia are two agents that precipitate ReA it has not been shown that these pathogens share common antigens. LÄS MER
35. Engineering of metal microstructures : process-microstructure-property relationships for electrodeposits
Sammanfattning : The relationships between growth-conditions, topography and microstructure, and physical properties of electrochemically deposited copper, nickel and zinc-iron alloys were studied. Growth was investigated while systematically varying process parameters such as electrolyte chemistry, type and concentration of additives, current density, and mass transport. LÄS MER
