  1. 26. Agent-based Transport Models as a Tool for Evaluating Mobility

    Författare :Çaglar Tozluoglu; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Machine learning; Daily activity pattern; Activity-based modeling; Agent-based modeling; Activity generation;

    Sammanfattning : The transportation system is undergoing fundamental transformations through emerging technologies. Some of these innovations have the potential to contribute to the sustainable transformation of the transportation system, such as electric vehicles (EVs) and shared autonomous electric vehicles (SEAVs). 2. 27. Modelo para promoção da mobilidade urbana ativa por bicicleta: uma abordagem do design de serviços para o comportamento sustentável. (Model for promoting active urban mobility by bicycle: a service design approach for sustainable behaviour)

    Författare :Gheysa Prado; Universidade Federal do Parana; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; bicycle; urban mobility; active mobility; design for sustainable behaviour; behaviour change; service design; sustainable urban mobility;

    Sammanfattning : The population growth associated with an accelerated urbanization process - with more than 50% global people living in cities - are weighting negatively on social and ambiental developing aspects. Among the compromised areas is the urban mobility, where the priority has been given to motorized ways of transports other than active mobility. LÄS MER

  3. 28. Environmental Impacts of Shared Mobility: Potential, Factors, and Assessments

    Författare :Ana Maria Arbelaez Velez; Internationella miljöinstitutet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; shared mobility; Environmental impact; sustainable transportation; input and output analysis; Life Cycle Assessment LCA; demand-side solutions;

    Sammanfattning : Environmental impacts from passenger transportation continue to increase globally due to a rise in kilometers traveled and a shift to emission-intensive transportation modes (from public transportation and active modes such as walking and cycling to motorcycle and car ridership). The electrification of the passenger fleet, coupled with low-carbon energy sources, is expected to decrease some of the environmental impacts associated with passenger transportation, including local air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and fuel depletion. 4. 29. Simulation and Evaluation of Urban Rail On-board Crowding

    Författare :Soumela Peftitsi; Erik Jenelius; Oded Cats; Andreas Tapani; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Transportsystem; Transport Systems;

    Sammanfattning : As travel demand grows in many metropolitan areas, overcrowding in public transport systems has become a major issue. Crowding distribution can be highly uneven over station platforms and multi-car transit vehicles. This implies that cars are not equally utilized and thus, passengers perceive on-board crowding higher. LÄS MER

  5. 30. Carriage of ESBL (extended spectrum beta-lactamases)-producing bacteria : knowledge, emotional impact and risk assessment

    Författare :Susanne Wiklund; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :Extended-spectrum beta-lactamases;

    Sammanfattning : Antibiotic-resistant bacteria, such as ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae, have become a growing public health threat. The overall aim of this thesis was to explore how the increasing prevalence of ESBL-producing bacteria affects different groups among the Swedish population. LÄS MER
