21. Two photon above threshold ionization in a relativistic framework : Attosecond delays in high Z elements
Sammanfattning : Recent advances in experimental physics opens up for improved time resolution on measurements of ionizing processes in atoms caused by an EM-field. There exist non-relativistic models that describe photo-ionization events involving two photons, for various atoms, where relativistic effects, e.g. spin-orbit interactions, are small. LÄS MER
22. Mirror Nuclei - Isospin Symmetry Breaking in the Mass A=35 and A=51 Mirror Nuclei
Sammanfattning : High-spin states in the A=35 mirror nuclei 35Ar and 35Cl and A=51 mirror nuclei 51Fe and 51Mn were populated using fusion-evaporation reactions. The gamma rays were detected in the powerful Ge arrays Gammasphere and GASP, respectively, which operated in conjunction with ancillary detectors for evaporated particles. LÄS MER
23. Quantum Transport in Superconductor-Semiconductor Nanowire Hybrid Devices
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we study quantum transport properties of superconductor-semiconductor nanowire hybrid devices. We mainly focus on the quantum transport in InSb nanowire Josephson quantum dot devices, i.e. quantum dots coupled to two pieces of superconductors. LÄS MER
24. Resonant and Non-Resonant Electron Spectroscopy of Free Molecules and Free Clusters
Sammanfattning : Resonant electron spectroscopy has been performed on the diatomic molecules CO, N2 and HCl. Core-excitations were made to bound and dissociative intermediate electronic states. Fundamental interference phenomena are observed and discussed in the framework of ”X-ray Raman Scattering Theory”. LÄS MER
25. Coupling mechanisms in scattering reactions involving small molecular systems
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, theoretical ab initio treatments of two-body molecular collision reactions are studied, having in common that the interaction region including all coupling mechanisms driving the reaction amounts to a molecular description. The main goal is to gain an understanding in the underlying coupling mechanisms involved in these reactions. LÄS MER
