This study aims at compensating for these limitations by combining a population-based cohort from a large, representative region of Sweden and a clinic-referred group from the whole of Sweden. The overall aim of this thesis was to study the usefulness of various models for the assessment of risk for violent recidivism among sexual offenders in Sweden, and to explore the relationship between individual risk factors and violent recidivism.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis I aimed to study, from a psychological viewpoint, what adult life is like for young men who sexually offended in adolescence. Data had previously been gathered from a group of 45 adolescents who had sexually offended.
