18. Regulation of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor expression and signaling
Sammanfattning : Insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R), a member of the insulin receptor tyrosine kinase family is a broadly expressed transmembrane receptor that plays a key role in malignant cell growth. IGF-1R transmits information provided by extracellular stimuli into intracellular signaling pathways resulting in the subsequent regulation of various effector systems. LÄS MER

20. Dopamine D2 receptor pharmacology : in vitro analyses and in vivo pet imaging
Sammanfattning : The goals of the present thesis were to study high affinity agonist binding at the D2 dopamine receptor and to explore the role of agonist induced internalization of the receptor in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging studies. For this purpose, we combined in vitro studies of radioligand binding and receptor internalization with in vivo studies in rodents using PET. LÄS MER
