    Sammanfattning : This dissertation is an attempt to understand and map the development of Persian writings on music, focusing on their various approaches and variations of topics from the beginning of the 11th century to the end of the 15th century which can be called the classical period of Persian writing on music. The rise of Persian musical literature as a part of Persian learned literature was a result of the political and cultural decentralization of the Abbasid Caliphate. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation is a study of contemporary Pashto prose writing in a context of war and crisis based on a corpus of digitally published and/or printed short stories from the 1990s onwards. Out of this larger corpus, 16 stories have been selected and analysed under four topics: "The Terrorist", Female agency: Representations of and by, "The Madman", and Axtar: Longing for peace or imaging disillusion.     Sammanfattning : The focus of this study is evidentiality—the grammatical marking of information source—in written and spoken Tajik. For marking evidential statements, Tajik employs a secondary register of verb forms (called register II forms) that all end in -a: the Perfect and the Perfectoids (the Perfectoid Imperfect and Perfectoid Pluperfect).
