  1. 11. Borehole Thermal Energy Storage Systems for Storage of Industrial Excess Heat : Performance Evaluation and Modelling

    Författare :Emil Nilsson; Patrik Rohdin; Maria Andersson; Mathias Cehlin; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Improving industrial energy efficiency is considered an important factor in reducing carbon dioxide emissions and counteract climate change. For many industrial companies in cold climates, heat generated at the site in summer will not be needed to fulfil the site heat demand during this time, and is thus removed to the outdoor air. 2. 12. The hygrothermal inertia of massive timber connstructions

    Författare :Stéphane Hameury; Ove Söderström; Carsten Rode; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; 1H MRI; Building simulation environment; Heat buffering capacity; Heavy timber construction; Indoor climate; In-situ measurement; Magnetic Resonance Imaging; Building manufacturing engineering; Byggproduktionsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The work presented in this Doctoral dissertation concerns the ability of heavy timber structures to passively reduce the fluctuations of the indoor temperature and of the indoor relative humidity, through the dynamic process of heat and moisture storage in wood. We make the hypothesis that the potential offered by the hygrothermal inertia of heavy timber structures is significant, and that it could provide a passive way of regulating the indoor climate. 3. 13. Single Skin Glazed Office Buildings - Energy Use and Indoor Climate Simulations

    Författare :Harris Poirazis; Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Modern office buildings have high energy savings potential and potential for indoor climate improvements. During the nineties many office buildings with glass facades were built, in several cases with double skin glass facades. LÄS MER
