16. Experiments on sheet metal shearing
Sammanfattning : Within the sheet metal industry, different shear cutting technologies are commonly used in several processing steps, e.g. in cut to length lines, slitting lines, end cropping etc. LÄS MER
17. Mechanical Modelling of Powder Compaction : Due to Corona is not possible to attend this defense in person, instead attend via this link: https://play.kth.se/media/t/0_mbkr2jhi
Sammanfattning : Cutting tool inserts, for instance used in steel machining, have the requirement to be toughand are therefore most often manufactured out of cemented carbides, using powdermetallurgy. Manufacturing components with powder metallurgy has its advantages in highproductivity and good net shape. LÄS MER
18. Advanced measurement and modelling methods for noise source analysis
Sammanfattning : In daily life sound is a vital dimension for the perception of the world around us but can in some cases be considered as annoying, irritating, or even harmful. In these cases the sound is labelled as noise and can be addressed in two ways, either by insulating the noise problem from the receiver (person) or by altering the source. LÄS MER
19. Lubrication of elastohydrodynamic contacts, mainly concerning low temperature
Sammanfattning : The limiting shear stress coefficient has been studied in a impacting ball apparatus for four different lubricating oils at -30ºC and 20ºC. The results show that the most interesting effects are; oil type, maximum contact pressure, temperature, and the interaction between the above mentioned parameters. LÄS MER
20. Brake Judder
Sammanfattning : Brake judder is a braking induced, forced vibration occurring in different types of vehicles. The frequency can be as high as 500 Hz, but usually remains below 100 Hz and often as low as 10-20 Hz. The driver experiences judder as vibrations in the steering wheel, brake pedal and floor. LÄS MER
