26. Microstructure in SOFC: electrochemical simulations and experiments
Sammanfattning : Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are highly efficient and environmentally friendly power sources that convert chemical energy directly into electricity and heat, without the need for combustion. Despite their many benefits, the performance and durability of SOFCs heavily depend on the quality of their porous anode and cathode components. LÄS MER
27. Residue currents on singular varieties
Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns various aspects of the theory of residue currents. Particularly, we study residue currents on singular varieties and duality theorems for such currents. On a singular variety, there are various notions of holomorphic functions. LÄS MER
28. Holomorphic functions on polydiscs and measures on the distinguished boundary
Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of four papers, treating holomorphic functions defined on polydiscs, operators acting on spaces of such functions, and related measures on the n-torus. In paper I we study containment of rational inner functions, or RIFs for short, in Dirichlet type spaces on the unit polydisc D^n. LÄS MER
29. On the Design and Analysis of Consensus Protocols for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks
Sammanfattning : Vehicle-to-vehicle communication technologies support diverse cooperative applications for intelligent transportation systems to increase safety and fuel efficiency of road vehicles. Vehicles participating in a cooperative pplication are expected to make coordinated and mutually consistent decisions. LÄS MER
30. Thermo-mechanical Assessment of Reactor Pressure Vessels of Light Water Reactors During Severe Accidents
Sammanfattning : The reactor pressure vessel (RPV) is one of the crucial safety barriers designed to isolate the reactor core, safeguarding against potential radioactive releases into the environment during a severe accident. The assessment of RPV behaviour and its failure is necessary to predict the characteristics of melt release into the reactor pit and succeeding ex-vessel accident progression. LÄS MER
