  1. 6. Energy Efficiency Comparison Between Two-level and Multilevel Inverters for Electric Vehicle Applications

    Författare :Oskar Josefsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electric Vehicle EV ; Drive Cycle; Plug-in Electric Vehicle PEV ; Multilevel Inverter MLI ; Two-level Inverter TLI ; Efficiency.; Integrated Charger;

    Sammanfattning : In order to contribute to the development of energy and cost efficient electric vehicles, a thorough analysis of two different electric converter topologies is performed, considering different drive cycles and different control strategies. In the electric vehicles available on the market today, a high voltage (200−400 V ) battery pack composed of several battery modules is connected to one or more inverters which create AC voltages to the electric propulsion machines. 2. 7. Matrixing Aid : The Rise and Fall of 'Results Initiatives' in Swedish Development Aid

    Författare :Janet Vähämäki; Maria Mårtensson; Bengt Jacobsson; Anders Forssell; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Accounting; Management Reforms; Results; Development Aid; Donor Practice; Sida; Reform Cycles; Tides of Reforms; Performance Measurement; Performance Management; företagsekonomi; Business Administration;

    Sammanfattning : Reform ideas, such as results measurement and management, tend to come and go in different ‘tides of reforms’. The purpose of this thesis is to increase our understanding of tides of reforms by identifying and discussing mechanisms that drive the rise, as well as the fall, of management reforms. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Design and Assessment of Battery Electric Vehicle Powertrain, with Respect to Performance, Energy Consumption and Electric Motor Thermal Capability

    Författare :Emma Grunditz; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; energy consumption; Battery Electric Vehicle; sizing;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, various drive cycles, legislative, official real-world and measured, have been studied and characterized based on their speed and acceleration content. Three reference vehicles (a City car, a Highway car and a Sport car) were conceptualized after performance requirements, with data on existing battery electric cars as a frame of reference. LÄS MER

  4. 9. On Institutions, Economic Growth and the Environment

    Författare :Susanna Lundström; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Carbon dioxide; Cross-country regressions; Cycles; Decomposition; Democracy; Economic freedom; Economic growth; Environmental quality; Innovations; Institutions; Natural resources; Paradigm shifts; Political freedom; Technological opportunities;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis analyzes economic growth and the environment by including institutional aspects and specific innovation mechanisms. It contains an introduction and five separate studies. Paper 1: The Effect of Democracy on Different Categories of Economic Freedom Many empirical studies conclude that democracy increases economic freedom. LÄS MER

  5. 10. BEV Powertrain Component Sizing With Respect to Performance, Energy Consumption and Driving Patterns

    Författare :Emma Grunditz; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; sizing; Battery Electric Vehicle; energy consumption;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, various drive cycles, legislative, official real-world and measured withinthe frame of the project, have been studied and characterized in terms of speed and accelerationcycle parameters, as well as acceleration and speed distribution. The objective was toassess typical vehicle usage on different road types, but also to study the implication on vehicleenergy consumption due to the drive cycle’s characteristics. LÄS MER
