31. Model-based quantitative assessment of skin microcirculatory blood flow and oxygen saturation
Sammanfattning : The microcirculation, involving the smallest vessels in the body, is where the oxygen transport to all tissue occurs. Evaluating microcirculatory parameters is, therefore, important and involves the quantification of oxygen content of red blood cells (RBCs), the amount of RBCs and their speed. LÄS MER
32. Synthesis and characterisation of Zintl hydrides
Sammanfattning : The synthesis, structural characterisation and the properties of the Zintl hydrides AeE2H2 and AeAlSiH (Ae = Ba, Ca, Sr; E = Al, Ga, In, Si, Zn) are reported. The first hydride in this class of compounds is SrAl2H2 which was discovered under an experiment by Gingl, who hydrogenated SrAl2 at various temperatures. LÄS MER
33. SiC-FET Gas Sensors Developed for Control of the Flue Gas Desulfurization System in Power Plants Experimental and Modeling : Experimental and Modeling
Sammanfattning : Electricity and power generation is an essential part of our life. However, powergeneration activities also create by-products (such as sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, etc), which can be dangerous when released to the atmosphere. LÄS MER
34. Physicochemical studies of oxide zinc mineral flotation
Sammanfattning : At the present, zinc is produced mostly from zinc sulphide ores because the sulphides are easy to separate from the gangue and to concentrate by conventional flotation techniques but in the case of oxide zinc ores, the recovery of zinc is not enough high. The objective of the present study is to investigate the influence of different cationic, anionic and mixed collectors on the flotation of smithsonite mineral and an oxide zinc ore at various concentrations and pH values. 35. Augmented navigation
Sammanfattning : Spinal fixation procedures have the inherent risk of causing damage to vulnerable anatomical structures such as the spinal cord, nerve roots, and blood vessels. To prevent complications, several technological aids have been introduced. LÄS MER
