    Sammanfattning : Aqueous mixtures of two non-ionic polymers, poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) and the amphiphilic triblock copolymer, (EO)27(PO)67(EO)27, known by its trade name Pluronic® P104, showed an associative phase separation (miscibility gap), which decreased with the decrease of PAA length. It was found that PAA is a much less selective “solvent” to P104 molecules than water. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : A microorganism was isolated which could grow on unusually high concentrations of the toxic pollutant 4-chlorophenol.     Sammanfattning : Aqueous mixtures of hydrophobically modified polymers (HMP) with amylose have been investigated by rheology and 1H NMR. Amylose can cross-link HMP chains by forming single-helical inclusion complexes with the hydrophobic side chains of the HMP, leading to thermoreversible, elastic, and thixotropic gels at ambient temperatures.
