    Sammanfattning : In this dissertation Transformation, as understood in South Africa, is investigated in the ‘Natal Museum’ and the ‘Msunduzi Museum Incorporating the Voortrekker Complex’ in terms of socio-political structures, the museum as a place, its collections and displays. I have emphasised the ethnographical perspective and analysed it by using key concepts such as new museology, time, space and place. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The recovery model, endorsed by various governmental bodies, emphasises the integration of a recovery perspective into alcohol and drug policy, with a focus on post-treatment interventions such as housing, employment and education needs. In an effort to enhance the utility of the recovery perspective in treatment, the concept of recovery capital (RC) has been used as a foundation for operationalisations used to measure treatment needs and progress.     Sammanfattning : It is the aim of this study to understand the mobilization process leading up to and the diffusion of collective contentious behavior during the Egyptian Uprising of 2011. Using process tracing and focusing on the role of the so-called Cairo-based political opposition, this study contributes to debates on social movement theory and contentious politics by elaborating on the causal mechanisms that facilitate mobilization and diffusion processes in periods of heightened social conflict.
