6. Impact Evaluation of Intentional Electromagnetic Interference (IEMI) on Targeted Loads in Complex Networks Using Analytical Investigations
Sammanfattning : With the proliferation of various electronic and electrical devices, IEMI has become a critical issue that may severely threaten the modern society. For practical protection considerations, it is crucial to comprehensively evaluate the potential damages resulted by IEMI. LÄS MER
7. Modelling of TMF Crack Growth in Polycrystalline Gas Turbine Alloys : Accounting for Crack Closure Effects
Sammanfattning : The main objective of the work presented in this Licentiate of Engineering thesis is to investigate and model the fatigue crack propagation behaviour of the nickel-based superalloy Inconel 792, with special attention to the industrial lifing of high-temperature components. In-phase (IP) crack propagation tests have been performed at different temperatures and loading regimes, including extended hold times. LÄS MER
8. Assessment of energy storage systems for power system applications based on equivalent circuit modeling
Sammanfattning : Climate change triggered the rethinking of our current energy system. A restructuring is necessary and in progress with the goal to improve our energy supplychain in efficiency and sustainability. This has led to the increased use of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. LÄS MER
9. Protection of Complex Infrastructure Systems against Intentional Electromagnetic Interference
Sammanfattning : In this thesis the effects of, and defense against, antagonistic attacks using Intentional Electromagnetic Interference (IEMI) are treated; especially when targeting infrastructure critical to society (CI).IEMI as a means to disturb or destroy electronic equipment draws its roots from military methods to interrupt or interfere with enemy activities. 10. Early Christian Arabic Versions of Daniel : A Comparative Study of Early Manuscripts (9th–13th centuries) with a Focus on Translation Techniques in MS Sinai Ar. 1 and MS Sinai Ar. 2
Sammanfattning : The Book of Daniel was translated into Arabic by and for Near Eastern Christians around the ninth century, as evident from extant manuscript sources. Approximately a dozen early (9th–13th centuries) Christian Arabic translations of this book have survived until today. With a few exceptions, these manuscripts contain independent translations.
