  1. 11. Effects of Environment on Charge Recombination in Organo-Metal-Halide Perovskite Observed by Photoluminescence Microscopy and Spectroscopy

    Författare :Jun Li; NanoLund: Centre for Nanoscience; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Environment; photoluminescence microscopy and spectroscopy; organo-metal-halide perovskite; charge recombination;

    Sammanfattning : Organo-metal-halide (OMH) perovskites form a new class of materials withperovskite crystal structure ABX3 where A is an organic molecule, B is lead (Pb)and X is a halide atom (I or Br). OMH perovskite semiconductors have been widely used in photovoltaics due to their very strong absorption of sun light, very suitable electrical properties, and the ease of preparation. LÄS MER

  2. 12. The estrogen receptor in fish and effects of synthetic estrogens in the environment - Ecological and evolutionary perspectives and societal awareness

    Författare :Lina Nikoleris; Biodiversitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; the estrogen receptor; salmon evolution and ecology; contraceptives; information gaps; synthetic hormones; EE2; Atlantic salmon Salmo salar ; brown trout Salmo trutta ; roach Rutilus rutilus ;

    Sammanfattning : Synthetic hormones are a group of pharmaceuticals used for various human and animal treatments. However, consumption and disposal of these substances have also given rise to negative effects and environmental problems for organisms in the wild which is why these substances have been classified as estrogenic endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). 3. 13. Environment, Livelihood and Natural Resource Management in the Lower Volta Basin of Ghana : Perspectives from the South Tongu District

    Författare :John Ernest Koku; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Ghana; Environment; Natural Resources; Volta Basin;

    Sammanfattning : The Volta Basin covers most of the major food producingdistricts of Ghana. Thus said, it is considered as the foodbasket of Ghana. This perception underscores the need toprotect the basins bio-physical environment and resource base. LÄS MER

  4. 14. LOOK AROUND, WHAT CAN YOU DISCOVER? The science center - a critical space for science student teachers’ development

    Författare :Alexina Thorén Williams; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Student teachers; science teacher education; variation theory; theory of affordances; subject-specific didactics; out-of-school science environment;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to examine the opportunities and constraints on student teachers’ learning of science and teaching science when they work in small groups; planning, implementing, and reflecting upon teaching at the science center. In addition to this aim, this thesis seeks to identify what becomes critical for teacher educators and science center educators when facilitating experiences that enable student teachers to learn, teach, and integrate science didactics theories into practice. 5. 15. The physical classroom environment : roles, conceptions, and preferences

    Författare :Magnus Fahlström; Högskolan Dalarna; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Complex Systems – Microdata Analysis; Komplexa system - mikrodataanalys;

    Sammanfattning : The problem addressed in this thesis is that a considerable proportion of students around the world attend school in inadequate facilities, which is detrimental for the students’ learning outcome. The overall objective in this thesis is to develop a methodology, with a novel approach to involve teachers, to generate a valuable basis for decisions regarding design and improvement of physical school environment, based on the expressed needs for a specific school, municipality, or district as well as evidence from existing research.
