6. Model-Based Design and Virtual Testing of Steer-by-Wire Systems
Sammanfattning : Driven by the need for automation and autonomy as well as the need to reduce resources and emissions, the automotive industry is currently undergoing a major transformation. Technologically, this transformation is addressing a wide range of challenges and opportunities. LÄS MER
7. Model-based Analysis and Design of Atomic Layer Deposition Processes
Sammanfattning : Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is a thin-film manufacturing process in which the growth surface is exposed to non-overlapping alternating injections of gas-phase chemical precursor species separated by intermediate purge periods to prevent gas-phase reactions. ALD is characterized by sequential self-terminating heterogeneous reactions between highly reactive gas-phase precursor species and surface-bound species which, when allowed sufficient conditions to reach saturation, results in highly conformal films, on both planar and topographically complex structures. 8. Model Based Diagnosis and Supervision of Industrial Gas Turbines
Sammanfattning : Supervision of performance in gas turbine applications is important in order to achieve: (i) reliable operations, (ii) low heat stress in components, (iii) low fuel consumption, and (iv) efficient overhaul and maintenance. To obtain good diagnosis performance it is important to have tests which are based on models with high accuracy. LÄS MER
9. On Application Oriented Experiment Design for Closed-loop System Identification
Sammanfattning : System identification concerns how to construct mathematical models of dynamic systems based on experimental data. A very important application of system identification is in model-based control design. In such applications it is often possible to externally excite the system during the data collection experiment. LÄS MER
10. Communications-Oriented Modeling and Development of Vehicular Distributed Embedded Systems
Sammanfattning : The model- and component-based development approach has emerged as an attractive option for the development of vehicular distributed real-time embedded systems. Within this context we target challenges related to modeling of legacy network communication, extraction of end-to-end timing models and support for end-to-end timing analysis. LÄS MER
