Methods: As persons who have had their gallbladders removed have been shown to have an increased incidence of duodenogastric reflux, one would expect them to have an increased incidence of DGOR. Due to this, and due to the fact that the operations are often occasioned by periampullary tumours with a poor prognosis, it is important to evaluate how the operations affect patients in terms of postoperative results and quality of life.
