  1. 1. The anode and the electrolyte in the MCFC

    Författare :Andreas Bodén; Göran Lindbergh; Carina Lagergren; Takao Watanabe; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; composite electrolytes; electrode kinetics; nickel solubility; porous electrode; reformate; water-gas shift reaction; electrolyte; electrolyte distribution; hydrogen oxidation reaction; ion segregation; mass transport; mathematical modelling; MCFC; molten carbonate fuel cell; Chemical engineering; Kemiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : A goal of the Swedish government is to increase the usage of renewable fuels and biomass-based fuels. Fuel cells, and especially the MCFC, are useful for these types of fuels. The Swedish market may benefit from the MCFC in two ways: increased efficiency of the biofuels and also utilisation of produced heat in district heating. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Modeling at the Cell Scale - Focusing on Species, Heat, Charge and Momentum Transport as well as the Reaction Kinetics and Effects

    Författare :Martin Andersson; Värmeöverföring; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SOFC; anode-supported; modeling; CFD; charge species heat momentum transport; electrochemical internal reforming reactions; TPB; area-to-volume ratio; COMSOL Multiphysics;

    Sammanfattning : Fuel cells are electrochemical devices that directly transform chemical energy into electricity. They are promising for future energy systems, since they are energy efficient, able to use renewable fuels and, when hydrogen is used as fuel, there are no direct emissions of greenhouse gases. 3. 3. Electrically Induced Debonding of Adhesives

    Författare :Simon Leijonmarck; Göran Lindbergh; Mats Johansson; Jinshan Pan; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Chemical engineering; Kemiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Electrically induced adhesive debonding is a process where an adhesive can be debonded at command with help of an applied voltage. To make this process function, the adhesive is  bonded between two metal substrates. In this study an epoxy adhesive is adhered between two aluminium foils forming a laminate structure. LÄS MER
