Sammanfattning : This work describes how a fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) derived from a vegetable oil can be introduced as reactive diluent in a solvent-borne thermally cured coil-coating system. The evaluated reactive diluent, rape seed methyl ester (RME), has been evaluated both in a fully formulated clear coat system and via model studies. LÄS MER
Sammanfattning : Introduction: Thanks to achievements in paediatric heart surgery and medicine, the population of adults with surgically repaired or palliated congenital heart defects is growing. Many of these adults have reduced exercise capacity, weaker muscular strength and shorter height, all of which suggest an altered body composition. LÄS MER
3. Thermally cured coil-coatings utilizing novel resins and fatty acid methyl esters as reactive diluents
Sammanfattning : Solvent-borne thermally cured coil-coating resins contain large amounts of volatile organic solvents in order to obtain suitable flow for film application. This work describes how the expensive and environmental hazardous volatile organic solvent content of a solvent-borne thermally cured polyester/melamine coil-coating system can be reduced by introduction of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) as reactive diluents and modification of the polyester binder resin. Sammanfattning : ABSTRACTMany studies have been conducted on infanticide and child homicide. Researchers have approached the subject with different theoretical frameworks and explored it from different dimensions, geographical areas, and time periods. As much as the questions have varied so have the answers. LÄS MER
Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis addresses the challenge of bringing two very different materials into intimate chemical contact: inorganic metal oxide nanoparticles and acrylic polymers. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the work has been divided into a series of more accessible tasks. LÄS MER
