  1. 1. User Requirements Elicitation - A Framework for the Study of the Relation between User and Artefact

    Författare :MariAnne Karlsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; requirements elicitation; user requirement; user study;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of the relation between the user and the technical artefact and, further, how this relation can be studied for the formulation and assessment of user requirements. A tentative framework for the study of the user-artefact relation has been derived from adapted theory and experiences from seven empirical studies. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Isocyanates - methodology for gas and particle generation, sampling and detection

    Författare :Daniel Gylestam; Marianne Dalene; Gunnar Skarping; Daniel Karlsson; Dhimiter Bello; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Isocyanate; PUR; Dry sampler; PTR-MS; Transfer line; PPE; Environmental Chamber; Respirable Particles; Denuder Impactor; Aerosol; Particles; Impinger; air sampling; LC-MS; di-n-butylamine; DBA; ICA; MIC; HDI; TDI; IPDI; MDI; Occupational Exposure; Exposure; Occupational Health; Analytical Chemistry; analytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Isocyanates are mainly used in the industry for the production of polyurethane (PUR) plastics. Workers are at risk of being exposed during the manufacturing of PUR. During thermal degradation of PUR, isocyanates are released and workers involved in hot work such as fire-fighting, welding etc. may also be exposed. LÄS MER

  3. 3. User Consideration in Early Stages of Product Development : Theories and Methods

    Författare :Jenny Janhager; Margareta Norell Bergendahl; MariAnne Karlsson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Engineering design; Man-machine interaction; product development method; scenario technique; technical process; user; Konstruktionsteknik; Construction engineering; Konstruktionsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Traditional design theories have focused on technical functions and more or less disregard a product’s user involvement. The existing methods of ergonomic designare mostly intended for analysis activities. There is a need for new dynamic methods that focus on user-product interactions. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Exploring barriers to energy efficiency in supermarkets

    Författare :Ulla Lindberg; MariAnne Karlsson; Högskolan i Borås; []
    Nyckelord :retail; servicescape; foodscape; chilled groceries; energy efficiency; barriers; refrigerated display cabinets; consumer behaviors; consumer perceptions; Resource Recovery; Resursåtervinning;

    Sammanfattning : Energy efficiency activities in sections of grocery stores for chilled groceries are subject to particular challenges as this is a complex indoor environment given that the goal of store owners is to offer consumers chilled groceries of high quality in a comfortable environment while at the same time trying to reduce energy use. Consequently, it is important to maintain the right temperature in the right place and to be aware of the consumers’ shopping situation. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Visualisera energi i hushåll : Avdomesticeringen av sociotekniska system och individ- respektive artefaktbunden energianvändning

    Författare :Erica Löfström; Kajsa Ellegård; Jenny Palm; MariAnne Karlsson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Energy use; energy visualization; households; energy behaviour; Power Aware Cord; Anneberg; pilot project; heating system; time-diaries; Time-PAcTS; Energianvändning; energivisualisering; hushåll; energibeteende; Power Aware Cord; Anneberg; pilotprojekt; värmesystem; tidsdagbok; Time-PAcTS; Technology and social change; Teknik och social förändring;

    Sammanfattning : Ett centralt problem i strävan efter att minska energianvändningen i hushåll genom beteendeförändringar är att energi till stora delar är en osynlig produkt. Avhandlingen strävar efter att utveckla kunskap som kan bidra till mer hållbar utveckling genom att analysera tre företeelser som på ett konkret sätt synliggör energi och energirelaterat beteende: ett lokalt värmesystem, en s.
