    Författare :Dhammika Bokolamulla; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; serially concatenated codes; symbol-by-symbol {MAP} detection; factor graphs; sum-product algorithm; Iterative detection; multiuser detection; space-time codes; continuous phase modulation;

    Sammanfattning : Certain problems associated with reliable digital wireless communication over a frequency-flat slow Rayleigh fadingchannel are treated, when the transmitted signal is modulated using continuous phase modulation (CPM) due to the desirable properties of CPM. The primary focus of attention is on detection strategies, and the thesis proposes iterative detection algorithms for CPM signals transmitted over frequency-flat slow Rayleigh fading channels. Sammanfattning : The mobile industry is preparing to scale up the network capacity by a factor of 1000x in order to cope with the staggering growth in mobile traffic. As a consequence, there is a tremendous pressure on the network infrastructure, where more cost-effective, flexible, high speed connectivity solutions are being sought for. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Integrated circuits play a vital role in our everyday lives, from wireless gadgets and multimedia players to sensors and processors that control vital infrastructure. Since most electronic circuits need a clean, stable clock or carrier to function, one of the most important components of integrated circuits is the phase-locked loop. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Shape measurements using temporal phase unwrapping

    Författare :Lars Kinell; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Experimental Mechanics; Experimentell mekanik;

    Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis is devoted to shape measurements using two different optical methods. The first one is a classical triangulation method, which uses projected fringes. The second one is a new interferometric method, which uses wavelength scanning. Both are whole field measuring methods. LÄS MER
