1. Geophysical 3D models of Paleoproterozoic Iron Oxide Apatite mineralization’s and Related Mineral Systems in Norrbotten, Sweden
Sammanfattning : The Northern Norrbotten ore district hosts a multitude of Sweden’s mineral deposits including world class deposits such as the Malmberget and Kirunavaara Iron oxide apatite deposits, the Aitik Iron oxide copper gold deposit, and a multitude of smaller deposits. Northern Norrbotten has been shaped by tectonothermal events related to the evolution of the Fennoscandian Shield and is a geologically complex environment. LÄS MER
2. Geophysical targeting of Fe-oxide Cu-Au deposits in the northern fennoscandian sheild
Sammanfattning : In the last decades Fe-Oxide Cu-Au deposits have been discovered and developed in Australia, South America and Canada. This class of mineral deposits is also present in northern Sweden and thus represents a potential target for improving the mineral production of the country. LÄS MER
3. Geophysical tools for prognosis of deformation in hardrock environments
Sammanfattning : Underground mining of the Kiirunavaara iron mineralization is causing large-scale deformation of the hangingwall of the orebody. To understand and possibly predict future deformation, a structural model of the hanging wall and a good understanding of the petrophysical and mechanical properties of the constituent rocks is necessary. 4. The Kirunavaara hangingwall : a geophysical and petrophysical analysis
Sammanfattning : Underground mining of the Kirunavaara iron mineralization is causing large-scale deformation of the hangingwall of the orebody. To understand and possibly even predict this deformation, a good understanding of the elastic and mechanical properties of the rocks in the hangingwall is necessary. LÄS MER
5. Geophysical and petrophysical characterisation of the Tjårrojåkka IOCG mineralisation, Sweden
Sammanfattning : A geophysical-petrophysical study has been performed in an area WSW of the city of Kiruna, northern Sweden. Particular attention has been dedicated to the Tjårrojåkka iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) mineralisations. LÄS MER
