1. Lokalradiospråk : en studie av tre lokalradiostationers sändningar
Sammanfattning : This dissertation presents studies of a socially highly relevant text category, local radio broadcasts. The language of news programmes in particular from three local radio stations - Radio Gotland, Radio Västerbotten and Radio Östergötland - has been studied in the light of the intentions behind the introduction of local radio, and the ambitions expressed by the radio people involved. 2. Episodes in talk : Constructing coherence in multiparty conversation
Sammanfattning : This study contributes to an understanding of how coherence can be assigned or constructed by participants in authentic multiparty conversational interaction. Coherence is analysed as a type of organisation relevant for the making of meaning in situated interaction, but also in retrospect from a third party's (or analyst's) perspective; it is both constructed and reconstructed. 3. Public talk on personal troubles : A study on interaction in radio counselling
Sammanfattning : The dissertation examines how personal troubles are talked about in an encounter with a professional on the public arena of radio broadcasting, where the professional has to meet the challenge of making professional advice not only useful for the person seeking help, but also relevant or interesting for the radio audience. The study explores the dynamic process of shaping an understanding of problematic experiences as it unfolds in the interactions on the radio and with radio listeners. LÄS MER
4. On Adjacent Channel Interference-Aware Radio Resource Management for Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication
Sammanfattning : Safety applications play an essential role in supporting traffic safety and efficiency in next generation vehicular networks. Typical safety applications require vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication with high reliability and low latency. LÄS MER
5. Silicon device substrate and channel characteristics influenced by interface properties
Sammanfattning : This thesis is divided in two parts, one dealing with the depleted Si/Si structure, which is a substrate behaving as a semi-insulating material intended for radio-frequency applications and the other concerning high-k gate dielectrics (dielectrics with high dielectric constant) as the replacement for silicon dioxide as MOS gate dielectric.High frequency applications of CMOS integrated circuits, to lower cost, achieve higher performance and richer functionality, depends partly on the possibility to decrease the substrate coupling between different parts of the circuit.
