  1. 1. Material Worlds : Queen Hedwig Eleonora as Collector and Patron of the arts

    Författare :Lisa Skogh; Peter Gillgren; Mårten Snickare; Helen Watanabe-O'Kelly; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; patronage; collecting; political culture; 17th century; portraiture; pretiosa; libraries; knowledge; wonders; Kunstkammer; Gottorf; Dresden; Germany; Sweden; Hedwig Eleonora; absolutism; royal collections; networks; Klöcker Ehrenstrahl; Ulriksdal; Drottningholm; Gripsholm; konstvetenskap; Art History;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis portrays the role of Hedwig Eleonora (1636-1715) dowager queen of Sweden, born princess of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf, as a patron and collector. Her role is analysed as to have played a great part in the Swedish cultural political visual production before and during the age of absolutism in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth-century. 2. 2. Atomistic simulation techniques for modelling inorganic/organic interface and flotation collector design

    Författare :Tarun Kundu; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mineralteknik; Mineral Processing;

    Sammanfattning : The choice of collector molecules in flotation process of mineral separation is invariably determined by tedious trial and error experimentation with inherent mounting expenditure. Here, we seek the help of computational solid chemistry techniques, namely the atomistic simulation techniques, to help and judge the suitable collector molecule for selective mineral separation in flotation process, before actually conducting the experiment. 4. 4. Gas-filled, flat plate solar collectors

    Författare :Johan Vestlund; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mechanical stresses; collector material; heated cavity; Modelling; Solar collectors;

    Sammanfattning : This work treats the thermal and mechanical performances of gas-filled, flat plate solar collectors in order to achieve a better performance than that of air filled collectors. The gases examined are argon, krypton and xenon which all have lower thermal conductivity than air. The absorber is formed as a tray connected to the glass. LÄS MER
