    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with three topics concerning the synthesis of non-natural also known as unnatural amino acid derivatives. In the first, solvent-free reaction conditions for the Heck reaction were developed that were superior to previous conditions because the reaction time could be reduced and the work-up procedure simplified.     Sammanfattning : Resulting from the general availability of first-row transition metals, compared to their second- and third-row counterparts, photosensitizers (PSs) based on metals like iron have gained interest as candidates to enable photochemistry from solar energy, a largely underutilized energy source. Iron complexes equivalent to other metal complexes, currently being used as PS, do lack some of the advantageous properties required to challenge the established PSs. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The development of a synthetic method of radiolabelled methylphosphono-fluoridates on a milligram scale is presented. The aim of this method is, besides affording high yield, to choose reaction pathways and reagents so that handling and transfer of labelled toxic substances is minimised, thereby reducing the risk of exposure as much as possible.
