    Sammanfattning : Background Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is the leakage of urine when coughing, sneezing, or on exertion. It affects 10-35% of women, and can impair quality of life (QOL). First-line treatment is pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT). However, access barriers and embarrassment may prevent women from seeking care. LÄS MER

The mechanisms for the risk increase seem to involve a combination of traditional and non-traditional CVD risk factors.We studied renal dysfunction as CVD and mortality risk factor in middle-aged men free from diabetes and CVD.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the question of why a large number of small, modest, public baths (saunas) were built on the Swedish countryside during 1920–1949 has been analysed. The specific research question has been: How did the idea of the need for the baths, as well better personal hygiene among the Swedish population, develop? The study is based on a number of different sources, including governmental registers, records, and motions to parliament, reports from the organization of the district medical officers, popular science books, leaflets, schoolbooks and magazines.
