6. The p97 ATPase and the Drosophila Proteasome : Protein Unfolding and Regulation
Sammanfattning : For all living systems, there is a requirement to recycle and regulate proteins. In eukaryotic organisms this is accomplished by the proteasome. The p97 ATPase is another highly conserved and essential complex present throughout the eukaryotic cell. LÄS MER
7. Utredningsbara misshandelsbrott? : En studie av polisens förutsättningar och förmåga att utreda och klara upp misshandelsbrott
Sammanfattning : The police are involved in almost all phases of a criminal investigation, starting with the crime itself and ending in court. The clearance rate is a core issue. If this rate is low or decreases, perpetrators will not be prosecuted and sentenced, and the police will be criticized. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Background. Traditional plant use was studied in Lao PDR. Research focused on medicinal plant use by the Brou, Saek and Kry ethnic groups, traditional plant repellents against parasitic arthropods and leeches, and the phylogeny and biogeography of the medicinally-important snake gourd genus (Trichosanthes, Cucurbitaceae). 9. Studies on a Novel Powder Formulation for Nasal Drug Delivery
Sammanfattning : Nasal administration has potential for the treatment of indications requiring a fast onset of effect or for drugs with low oral bioavailability. Liquid nasal sprays are relatively common, but can be associated with suboptimal absorption from the nasal cavity; this thesis shows that nasal absorption can be significantly enhanced with a dry powder formulation. 10. Gold Electrodeposition in Semiconductor Nanowire Technology
Sammanfattning : Semiconductor nanowires are widely considered as promising candidates for next generations of electronics and optoelectronics. Gold seed particles have so far been recognized as the most important catalyst for growth of nanowires. LÄS MER
