    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the youngest (one- to -three-year-old) preschool children's literacy meaning making practices in preschool. Preschool is the first formal educational setting that children attend, and preschool teachers' actions, teaching, and choice of materials and places for reading and writing activities affect the ways in which children make meaning of literacy.
