26. Fundamental Mathematical Modeling of Gas Injection in AOD Converters with Emphasis on the Inlet
Sammanfattning : The overall purpose of the present work has been to developa novel mathematical model of the gas injection in the AODconverter process, based on fundamental transport equations. The model development was divided into two major steps, wherethe first step involved modeling of gas injection through acylindrical nozzle at high gas flow rates (the nozzle model). 27. Diffusion in Poly(vinyl alcohol) and Polyethylene as Determined by Computational Simulations and Modeling
Sammanfattning : Poly(vinyl alcohol) and polyethylene polymer systems werebuilt in order to study their transport properties (diffusion).First a verification of the AMBER force field was conducted fora poly(vinyl alcohol) system built from a chain with 145repeating units. NPT-molecular dynamics simulations attemperatures between 400 and 527 K were performed. LÄS MER
28. Development of an Improved Thermal-Hydraulic Modeling of the Jules Horowitz Reactor
Sammanfattning : The newest European high performance material testing reactor, the Jules Horowitz Reactor, is under construction at CEA Cadarache research center in France. The reactor will support existing and future nuclear reactor technologies, with the first criticality expected at the end of this decade. LÄS MER
29. Modeling Approaches for Active Antenna Transmitters
Sammanfattning : The rapid growth of data traffic in mobile communications has attracted interest to Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) communication systems at millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequencies. MIMO systems exploit active antenna arrays transmitter configurations to obtain higher energy efficiency and beamforming flexibility. LÄS MER
30. Hybrid Solvents based on Ionic Liquids/Deep Eutectic Solvents for CO2 Separation : Experiments, Modeling, Process Simulation and Evaluation
Sammanfattning : CO2 separation plays a vital role in reducing CO2 emissions to combat climate change, in which solvent-based absorption is widely considered the most promising technology. Many conventional chemical and physical solvents have been introduced for CO2 separation, still facing challenges. LÄS MER
