Kollektivt lärande : lärande i arbetsgrupper inom barnomsorgen = [Collective learning] : [learning within workgroups at daycare and leisure centres for children]

Sammanfattning: This thesis deals with the relationship between individual and collective learning. The empirical study concerns Swedish community child care centres as a specific working life area. The aim of this study is to discover anddescribe general theoretical aspects of work group learning. The research design is a qualitative study. The most important result shows that group members were engaged in an ongoing dialogue which included different qualities: a narrative form, whereby they made their experiences available to each other;joint reflection and joint intension, where they developed joint strategies to treat a specific shild or to cope withmore general tasks. The individual contributes to work group learning through an ongoing collective learning process where group members collectively make sense of their common tasks and thereby enrich an abstract, vague overall task with concrete content.
