    Sammanfattning : St. Birgitta of Sweden has left to us almost 700 revelations, influenced by theology in her time and the world she lived in. This dissertation examines what these revelations can tell us about husband and wife in the fourteenth century. It examines different fields of married life and the male and female roles in them.     Sammanfattning : The introduction of high density EEG (hd-EEG) nets for easy application on subjects of all ages has improved the possibilities to investigate the development of the infant neurophysiology. This dissertation consists of three studies (I – III) that investigate the visual motion system and mirror neuron system of the infant, and methodological sections that outline the bioelectrical background and the characteristics of the methods used.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation contains a diplomatic edition of Book VII of St Birgitta's Revelations from the Uppsala MS C 61. Book VII was written at the beginning of the 16th centuary, but its language reflects an earlier textual stage. The edition sheds light on the language of one of our earliest Old Swedish translations. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation is a comparative and deconstructive study of the use of narrative exempla in the Revelations of Saint Birgitta (also known as Saint Bridget of Sweden) and in Swedish sermon collections from the Late Middle Ages. The purpose is to show how Birgitta during the 14th century and Swedish preachers during the 15th century morally educated their audiences through the inclusion of exemplary stories in their works.
