    Sammanfattning : The inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, are relapsing and remitting disorders characterised by chronic inflammation at various sites in the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
