  1. 6. Övning ger färdighet? : Lagarbete, riskhantering och känslor i brandmäns yrkesutbildning

    Författare :Magnus Blondin; Boel Berner; Johan M Sanne; Roger Säljö; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Firefighters; firefighter training; vocational training; real-life simulation; practical learning; practical understanding; technology; skill exercises; professional competence; teamwork; emotion work; learning field; boundary work; script; Brandmän; brandmannautbildning; yrkesutbildning; övning; realtidsövning; simulering; praktiskt lärande; färdighetsträning; teknik; meningsskapande; yrkeskunnande; yrkeskompetens; lagarbete; känslohantering; lärandefält; gränsarbete; skript;

    Sammanfattning : Brandmän arbetar i situationer av stark osäkerhet och risk. Ett fungerande lagarbete är en förutsättning för att de ska kunna hantera de faror som förekommer vid olyckor, samordna sin verksamhet, rädda byggnader och fordon, ta hand om drabbade människor och även undvika att själva bli skadade. 2. 7. Vision-based Human Detection from Mobile Machinery in Industrial Environments

    Författare :Rafael Mosberger; Achim J. Lilienthal; Henrik Andreasson; Jürgen Gall; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Industrial Safety; Mobile Machinery; Human Detection; Computer Vision; Machine Learning; Infrared Vision; High-visibility Clothing; Reflective Markers; Datavetenskap; Computer Science;

    Sammanfattning : The problem addressed in this thesis is the detection, localisation and tracking of human workers from mobile industrial machinery using a customised vision system developed at Örebro University. Coined the RefleX Vision System, its hardware configuration and computer vision algorithms were specifically designed for real-world industrial scenarios where workers are required to wear protective high-visibility garments with retro-reflective markers. 3. 8. Artificial Intelligence for Non-Contact-Based Driver Health Monitoring

    Författare :Hamidur Rahman; Mobyen Uddin Ahmed; Shahina Begum; Peter Funk; Hasan Fleyeh; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Driver Monitoring; Artificial Intelligence; Machine Learning; Deep Learning; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : In clinical situations, a patient’s physical state is often monitored by sensors attached to the patient, and medical staff are alerted if the patient’s status changes in an undesirable or life-threatening direction. However, in unsupervised situations, such as when driving a vehicle, connecting sensors to the driver is often troublesome and wired sensors may not produce sufficient quality due to factors such as movement and electrical disturbance. 4. 9. Machine Learning-Based Prediction Models and Threat Detection for Lane-Keeping Assistance

    Författare :John Dahl; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Machine learning; ADAS; Threat detection; Threat assessment;

    Sammanfattning : Traffic accidents have been an ongoing problem for over a century and many efforts have been made to improve traffic safety. Historically, the focus has been on passive safety with innovations, such as crumpling zones, three-point seat belts, and airbags, that aim to mitigate the impact of collisions. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Towards Smart Maintenance : Machine-Learning Based Prediction of Retroreflectivity and Color of Road Traffic Signs

    Författare :Roxan Saleh; Hasan Fleyeh; Moudud Alam; Arend Hintze; Darko Babic; Högskolan Dalarna; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Road traffic signs; Retroreflectivity; Chromaticity; Maintenance; Predictive models; classification; Survival analysis; Kaplan Estimator; Machine Learning;

    Sammanfattning : Proper maintenance of road traffic signs is vital for safety, as their low visibility can cause accidents and fatalities. Many countries, including Sweden, lack a systematic approach for replacing signs due to the risky, costly, and complex methods needed to measure their color and retroreflectivity. LÄS MER
