    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a theoretical discussion of meaning creation in general, and interpretive functions of English adjectives in particular. The discussion rests on a dynamic view of meaning and interpretation, according to which there are no fixed linguistics meanings – not even for single lexemes. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : To form well written texts in a culture where the norms for writing are changing is difficult for both native and non-native writers. Moreover, deviations from the norm among non-native writers can be explained by inadequate command of formal and pragmatic knowledge of the new language or a disinclination in non-native writers to accept socio-cultural rules, different from their own. The aim of the study is to present an intermedial theoretical framework for biofiction, a genre defined as fictional biographical and often metafictional narratives in which a biographical subject serves as the focal point for the story or plays a role integral to the narrative.
