  1. 21. Gaze Following in Infancy : Mechanisms and Developmental Context

    Författare :Kim Astor Währborg; Gustaf Gredebäck; Gergely Csibra; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Gaze following; Eye-tracking; Infants; Mechanisms; Culture; Joint visual attention; Social environment; Theories; Attention sharing; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : Few things are as fundamental to humans as the ability to share attention. It allows us to coordinate our actions with, and assimilate knowledge from, the actions of others with remarkable efficiency and accuracy. This ability emerges in infancy and sets the stage for all subsequent social development. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Illumination matters. Revisiting the Roman house in a new light

    Författare :Danilo Marco Campanaro; Digital Arkeologi Laboratoriet DARK Lab; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; House of the Greek Epigrams; Roman domestic space; Pompeii; lighting simulation; lamps; digital archaeology; 3D; virtual reality; eye-tracking; 3D GIS;

    Sammanfattning : Interpreting the social complexity of the Roman house requires a careful evaluation of existing evidence. With this in mind, recent work in the field has proposed a variety of different approaches, focusing each time on a specific type of source (architecture and décor, ancient texts, material evidence from excavated houses), each in turn recursively deemed more adequate for the purpose or more fruitful and less biased. 3. 23. Restrictive eating disorders: aetiological, epidemiological and neurodevelopmental aspects

    Författare :Lisa Dinkler; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Eating Disorders; Anorexia Nervosa; Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder; Neurodevelopmental Disorders; Twin study; Emotion recognition; Eye tracking; Prevalence;

    Sammanfattning : Restrictive Eating Disorders (EDs), including Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and Anorexia Nervosa (AN), are characterised by severely restricted food intake, commonly leading to substantial weight loss and significantly low weight, and the need for nutritional supplementation. The overarching aim of this thesis was to elucidate specific aetiological, epidemiological, and neurodevelopmental aspects of ARFID and AN, including the genetic aetiology of AN, the link between AN and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the prevalence of ARFID, and the comorbidity of ARFID with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs). 4. 24. The perception of actions and interactions : And the importance of context

    Författare :Joshua Juvrud; Gustaf Gredebäck; Denis Mareschal; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; action understanding; action perception; motion; perception; context; environment; eye-tracking; pupil dilation; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : The perception of actions and interactions is a dynamic process linked with perceptual processes, the internal and external states of the individual, prior experiences, and the immediate environment. Given these differential contexts, it is very likely there are differences in how infants perceive, interpret, and respond to actions. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Towards the Humanisation of Programming Tool Interactions

    Författare :Alan McCabe; Programvaruteknik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Reference Attribute Grammars; Human Computer Interaction; Static program analysis; Eye tracking; User Studies;

    Sammanfattning : Program analysis tools, from simple static semantic analysis by a compiler, to complex dynamic analyses of data flow and security, have become commonplace in modern day programming. Many of the simpler analyses, such as the afore- mentioned compiler checking or linters designed to enforce code style, may even go unnoticed or unconsidered by most users, ubiquitous as they are.
