1. XPS studies of an organic anode and hole-conductor system : PEDOT-PSS
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with photoelectron spectroscopy of conducting polymer systems. A particular system, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrenesulfonic acid (PEDOT-PSS), has been the main focus of this work. It is an aqueous colloidal dispersion consisting of doped conjugated polymer PEDOT with counter ions provided by the PSS chains. LÄS MER
2. Electrically conductive textile coatings with PEDOT:PSS
Sammanfattning : In smart textiles, electrical conductivity is often required for several functions, especially contacting (electroding) and interconnecting. This thesis explores electrically conductive textile surfaces made by combining conventional textile coating methods with the intrinsically conductive polymer complex poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene)-poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS). 3. Studies of electrically conductive textile coatings with PEDOT:PSS
Sammanfattning : This study investigates electrically conductive coatings of textiles, obtained with a direct coating and the addition of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) dispersion to a thickened polyurethane (PU)-based formulation. Textiles with enhanced electrical conductivity have potential applications in antistatic, electrostatic discharge protective, electromagnetic interference shielding, sensoric and temperature-regulating products. 4. Innovation in a Changing World : Exploring PSS Design through Prototyping
Sammanfattning : Customers across all sectors have increasing expectations (e.g. value, efficiency, availability, quality, etc.) and expanding needs which traditional business models fail to address simultaneously and stand-alone products cannot be expected to solve. LÄS MER
5. Capturing Value in Conceptual PSS Design : Perspectives from the Automotive Supply Chain
Sammanfattning : Manufacturing companies have traditionally focused their design and development activities on realizing technical and engineered aspects of physical artifacts based on performance requirements. The ever-changing business climate, with its increased pace during the past decades, has forced industries to continuously innovate their approach toward the development of new products. LÄS MER
