  1. 6. The impacts of network effects and multi-service provision on consumer switching costs in the Swedish telecommunications market

    Författare :Pratompong Srinuan; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; broadband Internet; switching costs; tariff-mediated network effects; local network effects; calling clubs; Sweden; multiple-service; termination-based price discrimination;

    Sammanfattning : The Swedish telecommunications market has been liberalised since 1990s. Liberalisation gave an opportunity to several new entrants to enter to the market. Consumers also gained benefits from more telecom providers and services to choose from, and lower telecom prices. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Partial carbon capture – an opportunity to decarbonize primary steelmaking

    Författare :Max Biermann; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

    Sammanfattning : Climate change requires that all energy-related sectors drastically reduce their greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). To have a high likelihood of limiting global warming to 1.5°C, large-scale mitigation of GHG has to start being implemented and cause emissions to fall well before Year 2030. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Product Costing for Sawmill Business Management

    Författare :Mats Johansson; Kaj Rosling; Robert Grubbström; Växjö universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; joint cost; lumber costing; linear programming; sawmilling; cost allocation; sales management; opportunity cost.; Business and economics; Ekonomi;

    Sammanfattning : Several Swedish sawmill groups have recently developed product-costing systems to possibly compensate for diminishing production knowledge in recently centralized market organizations. The concept of product costs is challenging in sawmilling, since production is of a joint type – each log typically yields many products. LÄS MER
