  1. 1. Satsekvivalenta infinitivfraser i svenskan : En synkron och diakron undersökning

    Författare :Mikael Kalm; Ulla Stroh-Wollin; David Håkansson; Jan Terje Faarlund; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; control infinitive; ECM-infinitive; infinitive marker; diachronic syntax; non-finite complementation; non-finite syntax; word order; tense; finiteness; grammaticalization; Old Swedish; Early Modern Swedish; Nordiska språk; Scandinavian Languages;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates control infinitives and ECM-infinitives in the history of Swedish. Both constructions are non-finite, based on infinitives with or without complements, but share some properties and functions with finite subordinate clauses. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Basement membrane components in the chondrocyte extracellular matrix

    Författare :Alexander Kvist; Lunds universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Skelett; rheumatology locomotion; nidogen; chondroitin sulfate; collagen assembly; Skeleton; muscle system; type IV collagen; laminin; perlecan; basement membranes; ECM; chondrcytes; muskelsystem; reumatologi;

    Sammanfattning : The extracellular matrix (ECM) is a network of macromolecules which, together with cells, forms the various tissues of all metazoan organisms. Cartilage, in contrast to most other tissues, contains relatively few cells in proportion to the volume occupied by ECM. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Complex Formation in the Extra Cellular Matrix- Structural Study of CTLD of Agrrecan, Tenascin-R and Chondroadherin

    Författare :Anna Pramhed; Biokemi och Strukturbiologi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; aggrecan; ECM; fibulin; structure; tenascin; CHAD; chondroadherin; X-ray; crystallography; calcium; CTLD; C-type lectin; fibronectin; FnIII; LRR; epidermal growth factor; leucine-rich repeat; matrix; EGF; cbEGF;

    Sammanfattning : The cells of higher organisms exist in a complex protein network, the extracellular matrix (ECM), which has a wide variety of different components such as glycoproteins, proteoglycans and carbohydrates. As well as being the physical scaffold on which the cells are dependent for their positioning and mobility, the ECM exercises control over the cells, and changes in the matrix will affect the adhesion, proliferation and differentiation properties of these cells. 4. 4. Signaling determinants in Trojan horse-mediated dissemination of Toxoplasma gondii

    Författare :Einar B. Ólafsson; Antonio Barragan; Eva Frickel; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Apicomplexa; leukocyte motility; dendritic cell; amoeboid migration; host-parasite interactions; podosome; integrin; ITGB1; ECM; MAT; TIMP; MMP; MAPK; Erk; RTK; HGFR; Ras; calcium; VDCC; VGCC; calmodulin; CaMkII; CD63; FAK; SRC; Pi3k; hypermigration; molekylär biovetenskap; Molecular Bioscience;

    Sammanfattning : Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular parasite that infects all warm-blooded vertebrates including one third of the global human population. While infection is typically asymptomatic in healthy human hosts, reactivated and acute infection in immunosuppressed or immunecompromised individuals can lead to lethal toxoplasmic encephalitis After ingestion, the parasite crosses the intestinal epithelium and rapidly achieves systemic dissemination, ultimately establishing chronic infection in the brain. 5. 5. Cartilage destruction - Release of type IX collagen in joint disease

    Författare :Mikael Danfelter; Reumatologi och molekylär skelettbiologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; cartilage destruction; matrix metalloproteinase 13; ECM; assay; neoepitope; NC4 domain; Type IX collagen; fragment;

    Sammanfattning : Cartilage is of vital importance for the function of joints. It is characterized by a prominent extracellular matrix (ECM) that is produced and maintained by relatively few cells of one type, the chondrocyte. LÄS MER
