18. Integral Identities for Passive Systems and Spherical Waves in Scattering and Antenna Problems
Sammanfattning : Sum rules and physical limitations within electromagnetic theory and antenna theory have received significant attention in the last few years. However, the derivations are often relying on application specific and sometimes unsupported assumptions, and therefore a mathematically rigorous and generally applicable approach seems timely. 19. Innate lymphoid cell differentiation and functions in intestinal homeostasis and disease
Sammanfattning : The gastrointestinal (GI) tract, which includes the small and the large intestine, is considered the largest immunological organ that plays a pivotal role in food digestion, nutrient absorption and fuel generation. Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), which is broadly divided into Crohn’s disease (CD) and Ulcerative Colitis (UC), are multifactorial chronic intestinal inflammatory conditions that affect both pediatric and adult patients. 20. Finite elements based on the piece-wise linear weight functions in contact problems
Sammanfattning : The Finite Element Method (FEM) has been applied widely in solving many engineering problems. The FEM is an approximate method, which makes use of a spatial discretization and a weighted residual formulation to arrive at a system of matrix equations. LÄS MER
