36. Computational methods for Bayesian inference in macroeconomic models
Sammanfattning : The New Macroeconometrics may succinctly be described as the application of Bayesian analysis to the class of macroeconomic models called Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models. A prominent local example from this research area is the development and estimation of the RAMSES model, the main macroeconomic model in use at Sveriges Riksbank. LÄS MER
37. A Variational Approach to Image Diffusion in Non-Linear Domains
Sammanfattning : Image filtering methods are designed to enhance noisy images captured in situations that are problematic for the camera sensor. Such noisy images originate from unfavourable illumination conditions, camera motion, or the desire to use only a low dose of ionising radiation in medical imaging. LÄS MER
38. On Modeling and Control of Network Queue Dynamics
Sammanfattning : Internet flow control algorithms used today are separately designed and tuned for outdated setups and traffic mixes. Differnet algorithms exist in both end nodes an core routers of a network. This work presents improved techniques for network flow control. LÄS MER
39. On System Identification in one and two Dimensions with Signal Processing Applications
Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of four parts, with system identification as the common theme. The first part studies the asymptotic properties of two-dimensional identification methods. In the second part an approach to identification of time varying systems is presented. LÄS MER
40. On the convergence of discrete time hedging schemes
Sammanfattning : In the first part of this thesis discrete time hedging is considered. In paper A an adaptive hedging scheme where the hedge portfolio is re-balanced when the hedge ratios differ by some amount, here denoted eta, is investigated. An expression of the normalized expected mean squared hedging error as eta tends to zero is derived. LÄS MER
