  1. 1. Diagenesis and Reservoir-Quality Evolution of Deep-Water Turbidites: Links to Basin Setting, Depositional Facies, and Sequence Stratigraphy

    Författare :Howri Mansurbeg; Sadoon Morad; Ihsan Al-Aasm; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Bedrock geology; Diagenesis; reservoir quality; active margin; passive margin; depositional facies; sequence stratigraphy; Berggrundsgeologi;

    Sammanfattning : A study of the distribution of diagenetic alterations and their impact on reservoir-quality evolution in four deep-water turbidite successions (Cretaceous to Eocene) from basins in active (foreland) and passive margins revealed the impact of tectonic setting, depositional facies, and changes in the relative sea level. Diagenetic modifications encountered in the turbiditic sandstones from the passive margin basins include dissolution and kaolinitization (kaolin has δ18OV-SMOW = +13. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Cryptic Orogeny : uplift of the Al Hajar Mountains at an alleged passive margin

    Författare :Reuben Johannes Hansman; Ring Uwe; Joachim Jacobs; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; uplift; mountains; structural; low-temperature; thermochronology; dating; fission-track; U-Th He; U-Pb; calcite; structure-from-motion; photogrammetry; UAV; trishear; fault-propagation; Hafit; Al Hajar Mountains; United Arab Emirates; Oman; Geology; geologi;

    Sammanfattning : Mountains evolve and grow because of the large forces that occur from the collision of tectonic plates. Plate boundaries change and move through time, and regions that were once stable, shallow-marine environments can be dragged into subduction zones and get transformed into vast mountain ranges. 3. 3. Eurasian Arctic Tectonics: Geology of Severnaya Zemlya (North Kara Terrane) and Relationships to the Timanide Margin of Baltica

    Författare :Henning Lorenz; David G. Gee; Robert Scott; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Earth sciences; Arctic; Severnaya Zemlya; North Kara Terrane; Baltica; bedrock; geology; tectonics; Timanides; Caledonides; Geovetenskap; Earth sciences; Geovetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : The North Kara Terrane (NKT), with Severnaya Zemlya as its main outcrop area, constitutes the Palaeozoic and older rocks of the northern part of the Kara Shelf. Potential field data suggest a continuation into the eastern Barents Shelf. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Provenance of late Paleozoic and Mesozoic clastic sediments of Taimyr and their significance for understanding Arctic tectonics

    Författare :Xiaojing Zhang; Victoria Pease; Arne Willner; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Geology; geologi;

    Sammanfattning : The Taimyr Peninsula is a key element in the circum-Arctic region and represents the northern margin of the Siberian Craton. The Taimyr Peninsula preserves late Paleozoic through Mesozoic clasitic sedimentary successions in its Mesozoic fold belt, providing an ideal location to investigate the Mesozoic tectonic evolution associated with the opening of Amerasia Basin within a circum-Arctic framework. 5. 5. Inkomst av näringsfastighet i enskild näringsverksamhet - arbetsinkomst eller kapitalinkomst?

    Författare :Urban Rydin; Juridiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; income taxation; taxes; simple company; earned income; depreciation carry back and repair carry back.; finansrätt; skatterätt; fiscal law; capital gains taxation; simple firm; classification of activity; classification of real estate; capital income; dualistic tax system;

    Sammanfattning : Since the tax reform of 1990 the Swedish tax system separates earned income and capital income. On earned income such as "income from business" taxes and fees leads to a total margin tax burden that vary between 45 and 75 %. This margin effect can be compared to the 30 % proportional income tax on capital income. LÄS MER
