    Sammanfattning : The initial stage of liquid phase sintering, involving liquid penetration, agglomerate separation, particle spreading and growth has been investigated in experiments using tungsten heavy alloys.     Sammanfattning : Low-frequency, long-range sound propagation over a seasurface has been calculated using a wide-angel Cranck-NicholsonParabolic Equation method.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis we develop and analyze generalized finite element methods for time-dependent partial differential equations (PDEs).
