16. The Dynamical Spin Vector Evolution of the Asteroids
Sammanfattning : The dynamical evolution of the spin axis direction due to gravitational and thermal factors is examined. It is found that the spin axis variations generally are regular and relatively small for the bodies in the asteroid main belt. There are also reasons to believe that this is the case for minor objects beyond the main belt. LÄS MER
17. Procedure for the reduction of the effect of transient whole body vibrations
Sammanfattning : There is a growing interest in the topic areas of increased vibration comfort and reduced vibration levels in work vehicles. Legislation, health costs and demands for increased competitiveness are all important motivating factors in this growing interest. LÄS MER

19. Outcome of Stroke Prevention : Analyses Based on Data from Riks-Stroke and Other Swedish National Registers
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to explore variations in stroke prevention and the effect of prevention on outcome. The studies were based on patients registered in the Swedish Stroke Register between 2001 and 2009 and although used to different extents in each paper, additional information was retrieved through linkage to The National Patient Register, the Cause of Death Register, the Prescribed Drug Register and the Total Population Register. 20. Lake Hydrodynamics and Pollution Transport under Climate Change : The Case of Lake Victoria
Sammanfattning : A very small part of the total earth’s water is freshwater (only 2.5 %). Unfortunately, due to climate change and pervasive manmade activities, surface freshwater quality in many places of the world has become degraded. LÄS MER
