    Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation has been to investigate whether the democratization process in the Church of Sweden in the latter part of the 20th century has led to changes in the office and the role of bishops. The main issue in our investigation has been to elucidate whether a change in the bishops´ real influence on various levels of the church´s organization has taken place and if so, to examine and explain the underlaying motives and driving forces.     Sammanfattning : Proceeding from the presence of recurrent, poetic phrases and verbal collocations in early texts composed in Indo-European languages, this study is an attempt to elucidate some fundamental problems of myth, tradition and culture. The scholarly study of Indo-European religions and mythology-initiated during the 19th century and proceeding up to modem times with varying success-has often been devoted to the task of restoring a homogeneous system of Indo-European religious beliefs by searching for deep-seated reflexes of such a system in the historically attainable cultures.     Sammanfattning : This work stages a conversation between the French phenomenological philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty and philosophical theology, specifically as developed along an Augustinian trajectory. As the conversation unfolds, the outline of a new ontology is progressively sketched out – one that seeks to preserve the integrity of human beings as part of the natural world, as well as the integrity of the natural world in the presence of human existence.
