  1. 21. Economic and Environmental Benefits of CHP-based District Heating Systems in Sweden

    Författare :Shahnaz Amiri; Björn G. Karlsson; Louise Trygg; Mats Westermark; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Future energy systems and thus the climate are affected by many factors, such as energy resources, energy demand, energy policy and the choice of energy technologies. Energy systems of the future are facing three main challenges; the steady growth of global energy demand, the energy resource depletion, as well as the increasing emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases and their impact on climate change. 2. 22. Distribution of Ventilation Air and Heat by Buoyancy Forces inside Buildings : An Experimental Study

    Författare :Claes Blomqvist; Mats Sandberg; Per Heiselberg; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; building ventilation; thermal forces; buoyancy; gravity currents; large openings; heating; air quality; forced convection; free convection; Building engineering; Byggnadsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The main task of the ventilation system in a building is to maintain the air quality and (together with the heating or cooling system) the thermal climate at an acceptable level within the building. This means that a sufficient amount of ventilation air at the appropriate temperature and quality must be supplied to satisfy thermal comfort and air quality demands and that this air is distributed to the parts of the building where people reside. 3. 23. National Energy System Modelling for Supporting Energy and Climate Policy Decision-making: The Case of Sweden

    Författare :Anna Cecilia Krook Riekkola; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; climate policy; district heating; TIMES-Sweden; ancillary benefits; energy system models; cross-border trade; energy-economics; soft-linking.; CHP; system analysis; Energy Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Energy system models can contribute in evaluating impacts of energy and climate policies. The process of working with energy system models assists the understanding of the quantita-tive relationships between different parts of the energy system and between different time periods, under various assumptions. 4. 24. A System Perspective on Energy End-Use Measures in a District Heated Region : Renovation of Buildings and Hydronic Pavement Systems

    Författare :Stefan Blomqvist; Louise Ödlund; Patrik Rohdin; Jan Akander; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : A district heating and cooling (DHC) system can be a viable piece of the puzzle in the efforts of reducing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Especially if the DHC system include combined heat and power (CHP) plants which enable electricity production from renewable resources. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Building heating solutions in China : A spatial system analysis

    Författare :Chang Su; Hatef Madani Larijani; Björn Palm; Brian Elmgaard; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Building; heating; spatial; system; China; Energy Technology; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Modern, clean, accessible and affordable building space heating is key tofuture sustainable development in China. However, it is impossible to recommendidentical building space heating solutions for all spaces in such alarge country as China. LÄS MER
