1. On the formation of small molecules by radiative association
Sammanfattning : This thesis is devoted to the theoretical investigation of radiative association, which is one of the processes contributing to formation of molecules in the interstellar medium. The formation of the CN, SiN, SiP and CO molecules through radiative association of the corresponding atoms in their ground electronic states is studied by the means of classical and quantum dynamical calculations. 2. Molecular Recognition in Antibody Engineering. Studies on recombinant and phage displayed antibodies
Sammanfattning : In vitro generation of antibody fragments of desired specificity and affinity plays an important role since it permits the generation of reagents which may be valuable for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Furthermore, the kinetic parameters for an antibody-antigen interaction, rather than the affinity, has shown to correlate with biological functions like virus neutralization. LÄS MER
3. In-hospital patient safety - prevention of deterioration and unexpected death by systematic and interprofessional use of early warning scoring
Sammanfattning : Abstract In-hospital patient safety is at times hampered, leaving general ward patients at considerable risk of gradual, even life-threatening, deterioration. In many European clinical settings, inappropriate nursing practice of bedside monitoring and management has recently been addressed as impending to in-hospital patient safety. LÄS MER
4. Perceptions of Wooden Multifamily Houses : Applying an Extended Association Pattern Technique
Sammanfattning : During the past years, wooden one and two family houses showed a higher growth rate on the German construction market compared to conventional material like brick and stone. Wood as construction material became more and more attractive. LÄS MER
5. Strategies for assessing health risks from two occupational cohorts within the domain of northern Sweden
Sammanfattning : Background: Studies based on a cohort design requires access to both subject-specific and period-specific information. In order to conduct an occupational cohort study, access to exposure information and the possibility and permission to link information on outcomes from other registers are generally necessary.
